With all this talk about nerfing farming areas, I am wondering about this: What about farming the missions?

With my 4 characters and my many attempts to complete Thirsty River, I noticed that I always found lots of purple and gold items during these missions. So has anyone thought about that? I tried it yesterday, starting the Thirsty River mission with a group of henchies (also to see how far I could get here with only henchies - almost completed it!) and I found two purple items.

Is the desert really that good? I think the best drops are at FoW, so far for me anyway. Found a gold max dmg Shadow sheild there.

amazing. i would like to find any shield that has does damage. didnt know they exist

I have NEVER received anything good from the Mountain Trolls off Droknars, and I can solo them in MOBS.

I only get white and Blue items.

That sucks that you al lare getting good drops from them

Well, its sooo random: I got 2 gold items (1 superior rune of vigor, 1 hammer) from 2 Gypsie Ettin in Nebo Terrace..

And didnt find anything good yet in the desert with my other character (lvl20)

I used to cruise through killin drakes in the desert. I don't get any drops there anymore. I guess I went to the well 1 too many times. To get good drops from going through the missions you'll need to solo. As the gentleman earlier said, running through Thirsty River with henchies... you won't get much of anything. That mission would be unbearable as a soloist...

That was a load, the only place that I ever heard of crystaline swords dropping is in UW up in the Rider area past the behemoths. Very hard to get to, very very hard to clear and the swords drops very very very rarley.
